Centre Wellington Minor Lacrosse is committed to providing lacrosse to all residents in the community of Centre Wellington. A long-standing staple sport within the community, Centre Wellington has seen numerous championship teams including the Senior B Fergus Thistles and Junior B Elora Mohawks.
Centre Wellington is a township located in south-central Ontario. At the heart of the many small communities in Centre Wellington are Fergus and Elora. Established in the 1830s it wasn't long before there was lacrosse in the area, with the Fergus Thistles established in 1857 it is the second oldest lacrosse organization in North America. The Centre Wellington Minor Lacrosse Association was born in 2011 with the amalgamation of the Fergus Minor Lacrosse and Elora Minor Lacrosse as the Centre Wellington Mohawks, rebranding to the Centre Wellington Riverhawks in 2022.
